pictures were not taken as the place the truck was stuck in was an environmental reclamation site. (didnt know at the time) so it was decided that pictures shouldn't be taken. but James has a few videos of the trip he said he would upload when i was talking to him today.

i've got to edit my videos together, and my laptop is in the shop, so it will be a little bit, but here are some clips that i had already uploaded to youtube...

hec0's truck, stuck, we're using a high lift, anchored to my truck with wheel chocks under the wheels. it's in gear, ebrake on, it still got pulled back... and i was anchored to a 4 runner on my front end!


this is ian (the guy who filmed my truck) crossing after we left hec0's truck in the puddle, to go get some winches

and when we went in 3 days later to get the truck (wednesday night, i got stuck getting to his truck because it had been raining)

lol sweet. i was talkin to james tonight and we decided that im comin up and were all goin for a wheelin trip. i couldve came up earlier in june but i figured id be bored as hell up there for 10 days and i never thought of you guys, if i had my time back i wouldve went up for sure and met up with you guys somewhere.

your health is fine! your truck on the other hand... and in my defense, i NEVER said to drive through the giant puddle that had tire tracks going in, but not out the other side! lol

I have made a decision on my build that well take it in a slightly different direction...











Trade in my truck for a used FX4 when I find a good deal on one. I figured since it has the gearing and axel and other parts I want it would be easier. Plus ill have have a 4x4

from what i remember, there's not much different between the sport and the fx4 offroad package on the rangers... the grill and chrome accents i think... the level II, however is completely different, the level II is where you get the torsen 4.10, and wicked interior, only available till 07

The level II is the one I've been looking for. I thought in the big city of Calgary it would be easier to find one... all I can find is a new regular fx4 or older but no level II

Edit. I have sent 2 emails about some trucks I found one is an 08 FX4 in Edmonton. The other a bright ass yellow 07 level II in sundre??

there is a 2004ish white fx4 lvl 2 thats been parked in this guys driveway for atleast a year hardly being used then one day it was crashed he pulled all the damaged parts and started fixing it 2 months ago then just stopped and even left the hood up and its been sitting like that since totally neglected. it looks like the hood is good not sure about the front fenders
and it needs headlights grill bumper all that cosmetic stuff. I dont think the collision was reported either probably still has clean title you might be able to scoop it up for cheap.
