I just Seafoamed my 03 Ranger. That stuff is awesome! It not only put on a great smoke show, my truck is running 100 times smoother than it was before hand.

Vic

i'm sold on the stuff myself. i put it through my exploder a month or so back and it runs WAY better. cant wait to run it through the b2

it's funny, when i worked at jiffy lube, we had a "service" just like it that we charged $60 for, did the same exact thing......what a rip off

This may be a n00b question, but what is Seafoam & how does it help make the engine smoother?

Please enlighten me.

It's a petroleum based treatment that cleans all the internal parts of your motor. You can put it in the gas, air intake, and the oil and it will clean out the carbon and sludge that builds up from running your engine.

Aside from making you vehicle run better you can smoke out your neighbors when you run it through!

That stuff is just like Franks Hot Sauce.. I put that S*** in EVERYTHING!

I'm gonna have to try it in my bike. I have a xj600s and a stuck lifter from it sitting garaged for a couple years after I got it back from some crackhead idiots who attempted to steal it and popped the main fuse hotwiring it.

now it says to put 1/3 of the can in carbeurator or the throttle body throat, 1/3 in the PCV valve or one of the main vacuum lines, and then 1/3 into the oil crank case. and then remaining (although, 1/3 + 1/3 + 1/3 = 1, therefore there wouldn't be any remaining, but i suppose buying two cans wouldn't be a big deal) in the fuel tank.

did you do all of the above? i'm always down for a product like this that has a great customer base that truly believes in the effects

I have it in my bike and Ranger. I stand by it.

yep this seafoam stuff is the best yall.. smoke screen that it puts out is awesome lol

so ive never done this stuff
so you put a third in the motor while its running in the brake booster line kill the motor put some in the oil and the rest in the gas tank and smoke out the neiborhood.

1/3 in the crankcase. Drive the truck for a few hundred miles and then change the oil
1/3 in the gas tank
1/3 in the brake booster. You do not want to stall the truck out. i put ine in a spray bottle and i can help control how much goes in there. after it is empty turn the truck off for 20 minutes then start it up and drive it around. if you are plannng a spark plug change do the sefoam first. I believe sefoam contribted to eating my bosch plugs. along with a littl to much techron. the stuff does seem to work. I noticed a lot less noise from my engine after wards

My primary use is for gas treatment.
