Just Plain Stupied

psd........:icon_thumby:

Yea, it's my first diesel pickup (driven the big rigs for 33 years) and with the 6 speed manual, this thing gets up and goes. Passing is no problemo. Leave it in the "big hole" and mash the gas. When the turbo spools up, it goes from 55 to 85 in a second or two. :icon_thumby: Checked the mileage today....19.2 MPG. Better'n the Ranger does.

What'd it cost you for the kit ? Pass by anytime. I'd really like to look at the 36. I still have their site in my favorites list.

I've thought about starting with an original steel cab and going from there. I can weld and fabricate. Body work's not my cup-o-tea, that'll have to get farmed out. Even thought about mounting a Willy's pickup body on the Ranger's chassis.:icon_thumby: And paintin it camo

I'm back....both ideas sound goooood to me!!!

holycrapdoitandpostlotsofpics:headbang:

OOOOOOOO.K.

It's dark-thirty and the condenser is in place.....the xmsn cooler is re-did....only had to cut & reweld 1 radiator bracket....only had to do everything ONCE!!!!!

Tomorrow I'll mock up the two A/C hoses to the condenser & bring em to get crimped....I'll finish tie-wrapping the under dash A/C wiring bundle & hook it up to the oem fused a/c blower wire....

that's fine & all but where's the pics??????

..
I think i'll drive it like that for a day or 2 & watch for leaks once the a/c is charged & spittin ice cubes....
Streetrod (58).JPG

OOOOOPS....wrong pic....can't locate original pic...photobucket deleted it.
