my 5.8 is a 351m and every other 5.8 i saw was a 351 like windsors and cleveland, and i also have a spare 2.9 and 5speed trans with transfer case..You just gave me a terrible idea of what to do with my 2.9 when I get my 4.0.
Worse yet, when I get my B2 and 5.0 it I might run both 2.9s in tandem for a 5.8L (354 CID) V-12![]()
I will grant that the Mustang SOHC is awesome but I was planning to go with a 96-ish engine. The OHV will be just fine for my purposes and much simpler to swap in than the SOHC. I was going to go earlier, but AllanD had to go spoil my fun by pointing out that the 91 (which I was going to get) doesn't have an EGR valve, and I have to have one for emissions.Get a 2002 or later 4.0: much more HP. In fact the best one is for the 2010 Mustang.
