Just Plain Stupied

Ohhhhhh.....NNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNo......

are you telling me I've been sitting in s swamp full of alligators!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?

IMG_0033.jpg

A new coat of Sherwin Williams........and drop that baby 10"......

by the way.....as a kid I did have to carry a big stick to chase the gators away when walking home after sunset......Waaaaaaaaaa (not Florida gators)

What??????
Lower alligators??????????
No.........we already lowered em all they can go!!!!!!!

Now if you're talkin bout the tractor......look at the front suspension.......
You see where the front axle(s) have predrilled holes to set the tires where they'll fit under the front fenders of a Ranger/BII/'36 pickup.......

You just jack up the front end (use jack stands of course--safety first)....unbolt the outer tie-rod ends/remove&rotate the tie-rod-to-wheel arms 180* (it'll make sense later)....
Loosen the pinch- clamps.....slide the wheel shafts to get the right fender well clearance......

Then here's the speed method of lowering the front end 10....yes 10 inches..............rotate the predrilled wheel shafts 90* forward.....recheck your width measurements.........then just drill new bolt holes using two of the
Oem outer holes as guides to drill thru the inner axle shafts......

Then reinstall the OEM thru-bolts & the pinch clamp....adjust & reconnect the tie-rods to the 180* rotated arms.......& it's did!!!!!!!!

I'll let you think bout the rear-end for a second to see if you can find a way to lower it..........

I realize i'm jacking my own thread......but it's the meds......

no... smaller tires?

egggggzakly.......only go with 24" rims and wider lo-profile competition tires......the torque will feel 50% greater & youl only need 1 footstep to get in the cab...

of course you'll only be able to do about 15 mph in high gear....no more racing the train to the crossing......

I'm goin back to the go-rajjjjjj t0 tie up the loooooose ends on the front fenders & put the front *bumper back on (*stricltly a safety measure cause of Louisiana drivers)

Waaaaaaaaaaaaa Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa (cough wheeze)
waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
