Just Plain Stupied

boy that sure sounds smooth. not as loud as i thought itd be either.

is that a FRAM oil filter i spy? :no2:

Yep, it amazed me too how smooth it runs, but it do get loud above 3,000 rpm/
it also tries to turn the test-stand over above 3,000 rpm because of the torque with the rubber tires under the test stand.
I wheel it out-side every day & run it 30 min. to an hour checking for possible leaks/loose bolts.
Can't wait to get the '36 cab-chassis back from the painter & sliiiide the engine/AT into the frame
--then the 2.9 goes on the test stand for some new head gaskets :yahoo:
+ whaTEVER ELSE (wild keyloc again) I find wrong.:headbang:

Twinky, short story. I'm temporarily installing carbed 350 s.b.c. in an '89 Ranger XLT. What's the best way to tie the high pressure e.f.i. plumbing to the s.b.c. carb. without ruining the Ranger fuel plumbing?:icon_confused:

doorgunner, just put a fuel pressure regulator just before the carb, turn it down to roughly 6 psi. then your good to go.

First time I spyed your thread. Nice looking project. I do think you have dane bramage. Can't wait to see the body when you get it back. Go postal on the Camero so they can get your truck in the booth.

thanks fellas:headbang:--the "Veteran's Administration" was nice enough to give me official papers concerning my braindamagitis:icon_twisted:.
So now I'm what some people would refer to as a 'tard (a term I wear with pride:icon_thumby:).
I now know what it feels like to want to do something, but never able to do it as well as I'd like to:annoyed:.
Now I have the shoe "on the other foot". When I see someone with a disability now, I don't snicker any more--I know how they feel.
Enough of the thesis on life!
1. Thanks Capt Jay.
2. I was wondering bout that blackwidow.
Now where's Twinky-with that introduction, I gotta get a referral from him:icon_bounceblue:.
think I'm gonna backtrack & add some lil critters...
there, that oughta do it

Post a pic. of the Void under the hood so we can have some before/after shots
--I'll do the same when I get my Ranger back from the painter
(looks like it'll be March now) but the guy is like Michaelangelo with a spray gun :icon_hornsup:

Yea, LoanRanger's is marking his territory and mine is just tired.

Your painter IS Michaelangelo with a gun. Remember that it took Michaelangelo 4 years to paint the ceiling of the Sistine chapel.

o-o-ooo--o man
i forgot about that paint job he had with the church in Rome------
no-oo--o wonder it took Joe 2 months to paint the hood & fenders
(just pickin--he's workin the parts into his schedule).
Oh-well I used that 2 months to put the '89 wiring into the '36 project
(it's rough having braindamage, but since I really don't know anty better---the project is still f-uuu-n):icon_rofl:
Lots of aspirin.....lots
