I wouldn't worry bout it--on a forum all you gotta do is stand still & somebody will volunteer to make an :icon_twisted: outta you... Edit: This brings new meaning to the old saying "Do not swear by anything in Heaven, or on the Earth"....

Just Plain Stupied(doin a sbc w/blackwidow67)

I didn't want to stomp all over your thread, but wanted to stay close so any problems/short-cuts would be easy to keep up with + the guys are giving some great info to you. Here's where I'm at so far (I'm gonna keep up with your thread to learn as much as I can) Click on the pick, then enlarge the Photobucket pic to hear it run-stayed below 3,000 rpm to keep from turning the test stand over:icon_surprised:...just plain stupid, doing a sbc swap w/blackwidow

Edit: Sorry...had to delete the video...tech. reasons...hence:just plain stupied

you scared me with the title, i thought you were bashing me for a sec.

Never. ("Just Plain Stupied" is the title of my thread in the Metamorphosis forum). I'm just stickin close by so any problems can be posted & anything that makes it go better for us will be easier for people to cross-reference + anything stupied I do(other than an sbc in a Ranger) can be used for a good laugh:icon_rofl: I saved up parts for the last couple months & finally got it together--had to re-torque 1 head (oil seep) & tighten oil pressure tube-to-guage at the block so far...

hey its all good. btw nice running 350. should do what im doing and put an nice lopey cam in it for a little rumpidy rump idle. would sound really nice. thats what im doing in mine. but my 350 is a stock 72 chevelle 350. so i think its about 200 horse. so im doing a cam, gasket matching the heads, an edelbrock air gap intake, edelbrock 600cfm carb, double roller timing chain, msd disty, and s10 full length headers breathing through a flowmaster 2 1/2 inch custom exhaust. should be pretty sweet.

Yep. you added some horses there! I left the stock cam in it (even tho I wanted the lope de lope). I plan on takin it across the U.S. before everything finishes going to xxxxxx. Keep up the good work--if I get too much flak about it, I'm gonna super glue a Ford dist. to the front of the engine to keep everybody happy:icon_rofl:

I gotta run out to the shed--there's an extra Ford dist. in there somewhere--now who did I loan my 1/2" drill to?:icon_bounceblue:
