my grandfather had trouble breathing yesterday so i called the first aid. long story short he had a heart attack and congestive heart failure. his heart is working at 30% of normal and they cant do anything to help because he has bacteria in his blood from his kidneys starting to shut down. he has a 50% chance of living, and if he does, he will need alot of assistance. he is the only father figure ive ever had in my life so its really hurting me and the entire family.

id just like to ask anybody who is willing to, please pray for him. even the slightest concern/thought/prayer will be GREATLY appreciated.

thank you guys in advance...

ill keep your grandpa and family in my mind man. i dont pray as often as i should, but i will tonight

thank you guys from the bottom of my heart. i dont pray as much as i should but i have never prayed so hard as i have this weekend.

i guess the lord works in mysterious ways....

Thinking about all of you...so sorry about what happened!!! It is hard on the family when some becomes ill!!

thank you guys so much! he is doing alittle better today, and they have taken him back out of intensive care. still far from clear though.

it really touching when people you dont know show sympathy. thank you very much.

prayers and thoughts from me for a continued recovery

prayers and thoughts from me for a continued recovery

thank you mn_smokeater.

his spirits have been up for the most part. i think he was really down today though. tears me up, but i pray that he wont have to be in that hospital much longer, whether it be at home recovering with the family, or in his eternal home with god.

iv always thought that hospitals are a catch-22... if things come up Boom the help and expertise is there but the environment can just bring you down or at least it did me when i was very sick and in the ER and the Drs found a spot in my lung that still being monitored i was told" it could be nothing just a benign growth or a scar from being sick...Or a precursor to Lung cancer " i wanted nothing more then to get out of there and away from the place as that was all i thought of was if it was cancer..

i hope this dont sound cold(being a Firefighter changes your views on death and sickness, ect) but my belief is this: When He decides its your time its your time and thats that.
