September 2008 - Got my license, bought a 1991 Lebaron Convertible.
December 2008 - LeBaron lost a wheel, bought a 1995 New Yorker.
January 2009 - Got the LeBaron up and rolling, sold the New Yorker.
March 2009 - Head gasket blow in LeBaron, bought a 1998 Cavalier.
May 2009 - Cavalier tranny died, bought a 1993 Sierra.
May 2009 - Sierra's gas mileage (or rather, lack thereof) was killing me, forced to get the LeBaron rolling again.
June 2009 - LeBaron actually runs decent for once.
July 2009 - A few minor problems with LeBaron.
August 2009 - LeBaron begins to totally fall apart. Forced to give in and hunt for a new vehicle. Ford was the only dealership that would work with me - I'm only 17 and my parents went bankrupt a few years ago, but for some reason, the folks at Ford seemed to like me.
August 14 2009 - Bought (financing) a 2009 Ford Ranger Sport 4x4, just over 24,000. Not bad for a kid working full-time at Tim Hortons for minimum wage and still going to school, eh?

Wish me luck, I don't have much of it with vehicles. As I'm sure you can tell from my little timeline.

I too went thru a series of vehicles before I settled on the might morphin power Ranger! Just take good care of her and she'll take care of you!

Welcome aboard. I've had my share of putting money in vehicles I've owned in the past and hopefully your 2009 is good to you.

Welcome to TRS...

I think you're following in my footsteps...and I'd say GET OUT NOW....buy a bike...walk...get a scooter and a chubby girlfriend to ride...before you get sucked down the vortex of debt, late payment charges, hair loss, impotence, and halitosis...

But, that is one nice truck...have fun!

Haha i wish i could, Mark, but i live ten miles out of town and i sure ain't gonna bike to school every morning, then bike the four miles across town from school to work in the fifteen minutes between my last class and the start of my shift... i'm pretty in-shape, but not that good. lol
