So I've been shopping around for a couch for my room for a while and it just dawned on me... How about I use a bench seat out of a super duty for a couch and maybe even a ranger tailgate for a coffee table. After all, beer tastes better on a ford tailgate. What do you guys think of it?

bin der dun dat.

you can outfit the whole room, and a car stereo sounds great in the house too.:icon_thumby:

Who do you think inspired me to start using my imagination in the first place.

Do it. I built an office chair out of one of my old Saabs. I have a heated leather office chair

I find car seats to be uncomfortable as house furniture. May just be the parts I'm using. Used the rear bench from a Chevy van as a futon for a few years.

I put about 300 miles a day on my company truck. Truck seats are what I'm used to.

Well truck seats recline. Van benches don't.

I was thinking along the lines of a 99-07 Superduty Bench seat that does recline.

I've had to drive those trucks a few times and they weren't too bad.

We have a bench seat from a Dodge Caravan that we bolted 2x12s to and still use as a small couch to this day.

i had some seats from a 72 lincoln...power,leather....they were pretty comfy.

I think if I got anything from a 72 Lincoln it'd either be 1) expensive as fawk or 2) disgusting as fawk.

I need something a bit more recent for it to be clean AND cheap.
