the fender flares on my truck were a nasty a$$ grey :bad: (should be black) and I decide to try to fix this problem. found a product at wally world the other day called Mother's Back to Black. only cost a couple of $$ (5-6 IIRC) and followed their directions. scrubs the flares with a soft nylon brush to clean 'em real good and applied the stuff. after just one coat they look way way better :derisive: I'm thinking 'm gonna do another coat or two and see how they look after that.

I actually managed to be kind of smart and took a before pic, one after the first coat and will take another pic after a coat or two more, and post them up here when I get them done.

Just wanted to let you guys know, that this stuff seems to work and actually do what it claims!!

Is that stuff for plastics? Does it contain a coloring agent? Or does it just remove old UV damaged material?

yes it's for plastic, no coloring agents that I seen. In fact it was white? not sure how it works but it made them blacker then what they were.

oh and I just looked at the bottle, it is actually made by Mothers not mequires like I originally posted. D'OH
