Wanted 2006 Fx4 Level II axle

Hello, I am attempting to shorten my ford 8.8 with another short side axle for the 2006 fx4 level II - 31 spline torsen. As I understand these are narrower then the ford explorer rear ends. I am looking for another short side axle for the ford ranger 31 spline. I can not find aftermarket anywhere.

I thought i had seen those at the Bronco Graveyard before. Looks like they only have the Explorer axles currently.

There really weren't as many of those as the 28 spline stuff... makes finding used stuff pretty hard. I think the brake backing plates are also N/A.

You try car-part for used?

Yes I’m coming to realize that. Yeah I’ve been searching on car part. I was able to find this ranger rear end on car part and lo and behold it was 200km from my house. For $300.

I just need to shorten it for my application.

I’d order custom from Dutchman axle but I get dinged 25% on car parts at the border.
