Junkyard Prices

Have fun buying used shit off a wrecked car while supporting someones drug habit thinking your such a good person, haha shit they are out to fuk you, had some dick head ask me what seat i wanted and i say driver seat, then the moron says o well
we one sell them as a set for 150, yea get ****ed

are you ok

Does anyone know how the prices at the pick n pull brand junkyards are? Theres one in VA beach and I wanna check it out sometime. Also anyone live in the hampton roads richmond area got any good sugestions for other jy's?

LKQ has squat here anymore. No 4x4 rangers, No mustangs, not a thing.

I went to an LKQ on sunday and they only had two rangers. The worst part is they are the only salvage yard in town that lets you pull your parts

The Junk yard wanted $90 for a rear leaf spring(those dinky fiberglass ones used on early 90's GM's known for splitting) and I got it for $80 "with no receipt".:icon_surprised:

pick n pull price list is on their website, there way overprised tho lol

That's why I like Pull Apart, :icon_thumby:you know up front if they have it and how much it is and what is will fit with no surprises. The one in Knoxville rocks!:headbang:

I agree, they are pretty nice there, I have problems with my ankles, they gave me a ride to where the rangers where so I could scope them out.

then they hauled my tools for me to the truck and waited while I got the few parts I wanted and had the cash for, seen alot more I wanted but cash is tight.

Pull-a-part in Knoxville it one nice place with nice people.

Gets my vote.

Hey Robert, my mom lives in White Pine and I lived in Dandridge for 10 years. I from Jeff Co originally.:headbang: My old stomping grounds. I want to move back to Dandridge asap.:icon_thumby:

if you get the owner of the junkyard he'll sell ya stuff at reasonable prices, if its the lard-a$$ he'll bust yer balls on prices.

the owner sells me a tailgate $20

lard-a$$ tries to get me to buy the same tailgate for $78!

thank goodness the owner walked in

Thats the kind of place that i would love to shop at.

I still have to get around to going to the local u-pull-it and looking for Zx2's. Winter needs to end. NOW.

http://pullapart.com/ Been To the one in New Orleans. Its real nice out there. Its as clean as a junkyard can be. All the cars are lifted off of the ground already. It has a set price list for everything. You can also request a car there and they will notify if they get one in.

That's where I go. It's easy to find stuff and they provide little maps. Most of their stuff is from the 80's-90's era, and all the good cars are over the fence next to the crusher. They're slowly phasing out the old product and putting in newer cars but it's going to either take time, or land. They also have a full price sheet on their website and weekly sales on three different items every week. I remember one time they had a 10 dollar sale, where you can get a bucket seat with all hardware for 10 bucks, a wheel and tire for 10 bucks, or a bumper for 10 bucks.

They also don't charge you for extra stuff attached to what your buying. I had one place try to charge me for the brackets on the bumper, the supports on it, and the valance. I left. I'm not going to pay 100 dollars for a bumper I can get at gary's for 30. It's just going to take time for them to get in a foglight bumper.

our local yards suck.

$50 for a used rusty 16" 6 on 5.5 wheel....... $950 for a really beat 351 and wouldn't let me pull the heads or pan to inspect the engine, or do a compression test ......

I wanted a DB2 injector pump for a mechanical injected 6.5 ..... they wanted $600 for a well used one...... same pump remanned on Ebay is $275
