I moved over to .035 FLUXcore wire in my 110 welder and I highly recomend it. You will get abetter penetration and no build up like the regular wire. For me it was night and day. I will never use regular wire again, not with a 110 that is.

Im digging the doubler and skid!

see, i had more of a problem using my buddy's flux core. I really like the way mine is setup, but the lead is a little sketchy sometimes and the ground is horrible. Plus my welding skills still need lots of improvement. I am getting there though. Really debating on saying **** the 13 gallon tank and going with a B2 bomber tank though....

I would, if your having that many problems, this way you can just go and buy a fuel pump and sending unit that isn't cobbled together.

my thoughts exactly

Just ditch the small tank. You don't really lose that much ground clearance (or at least I haven't been cursing mine yet):

And also just pick up the skid plate also, that way your tank is really protected, and you will have more fuel for when your wheeling and won't have to worry about running out.

I'll just build a skid plate

1/8" tin and dimple dies FTW!

I was thinking crazy with what I had in mind! I was just going to copy rock rangers with that huge heavy 3/16 thing, but 1/8" dimpled sounds perfect and will look killer. Guess I better call Jordan...

I like the b2 tank idea. Cleans the overall look of the truck. And you'll have 23 gallons of gas to waste money on! Lol.

13.6 MPG and right now it only reads like 12 gallons, so that is 163 miles per tank. That gets old. Fast.

that's like 3 days for me....

ordered the B2 tank and straps from Rock Auto. Going to "band-aid" the one i have now so i can go wheeling Sunday, but as soon as the new tank gets here, its going in. I just hope i can use the same location for the filler neck....
