Josh40601's Build Thread. (D-ranged)

Sure! I have one sitting on a pallet in the woods. SBC 350. Needs a complete rebuild. Lol

Same as him, you going to drive your ass all the way up here to get it?!

Still no work yet on D. I have been helping my dad build his newest garage. I also Got the Superduty hood painted. Holy shit this thing has dents. Dad had 4 cans of black. All were almost empty, and one of them was so old it gelled up. So I mixed 3 different black base costs and sprayed the hood. Used some extra clear, and at least matched it close enough. I'll get that installed this weekend along with some work on this.

One thing I am undecided on is carpet or vinyl. I HATE the look of vinyl floors, but hate how carpet gets dirty so quickly. I was thinking of going to a black carpet kit (tan is in the truck now, do it will have to come out)

What do you guys think? I have husky liners. It's the rear section I'm worried about. Do they make a husky liner for the rear portion of the cab?

No. I hate the rinolining floors.

Black carpet with the heavy duty 4x4 front and rear floor mats...

SVT

Boat carpet. Something similar to the bed rugs. Have to be DIY but it would stay cleaner.

I love my vinyl floor

This is what I'm thinking too Rick. I have the Husky Liners in front, and if I can find one for the rear, I will go this route.

I was also thinking a dark gray to match the interior. Just mainly depends if I can find that rear mat

No boat carpet. That shit was in DD when I got it and it looked like house carpet.

Has to be a molded kit for the 4 door rangers

Thanks Rick. That settles that decision then. Dark gray carpet and black husky liners.

I also keep forgetting I have to hook up the steering in the truck. According to the 98+ guys, I have to support the steering shaft. So this is another issue I need to take care of.
