full weekend of teardown. Tan truck is in multiple pieces and ready for the engine, trans, and fuel tank to be removed. Multiple parts went to the Red Ranger as well, which helped a couple issues we were having with it. Also seen what all damage was done from the impact. The frame is bent, water pump/fan mount is broken off, and power steering pump pulley is toast, not including all the stuff you immediately notice when looking at the truck.
Here is a shot of the Ranger Friday before pulling into the garage.
After day 1, we had the bed off, front clip removed, radiator support removed, and body mount bolts out.
Here is the scrap pile from the front end
Day two we removed all the wiring and clips and grounds that were holding all the junk to the inner fenders. Then we pulled the rear end that we swapped under my red ranger. With the help of Dad's Bobcat, we were able to bring the frame and cab outside, and separate the two
Here is what is left on the frame.
Cab is ready to be sat on the new... errr.... older frame.
Next weekend will be removing the last bits, then tearing D down.
