Off loaded and ready to start tearing into it

since I still need to clear out the bed, I decided to pull the fenders out and set them up on there. Gonna bring the header panel and all the other parts in Thursday. I'll get the header panel mounted up so I can see where the coolers are going to go, then I'm starting on putting the rear axle in.

She doesn't run yet, but like Rick said, i was pressed hard for time and had to go. Got plenty of stuff to do until he gets up here though. Harlan's fall crawl is in October, I don't think I will have this one ready, but by Southern Shine in April, hoping to be painted, caged, and ready to make people's jaws drop

Other than painting and getting it running what plans have you got for it? Is it going to be yellow again?

abso-phawking-lutely. Going back yellow as soon as it is driveable again

In order of importance...

1.) Super Duty axle swap, which consists of converting it to a 3 link front
3.) Rebuild the front shocks (again)
2.) Get it running and driving
3.) finish the interior
4.) Paint
5.) Cage

Exo or internal cage? Are you going to try rebuilding your shocks with different springs? I remember you have messed with quite a bit but I don't remember of you ever got them how you wanted.

The shocks are going back to fox for a complete rebuild, but staying with the same springs afaik. The suspension was dialed in, but could change going with 3 link. Josh, I have a set of wedges if you want to weld them onto the 50. I have them for when I put the 60 under the Trac, but I'm thinking I might go tri 4 link. I'm pretty sure it'll be exocage...

I have the duff 60 swap kit at the house, but likely going away from wedgies when the 50 goes in.

As for the front, going to have king send me a set of threaded cans, then got a buddy here in lex who is going to help me rebuild them.

You missed one!

One day brother. One day. I'm hoping to get all that done before the year is over. The cummins won't be for a lil while longer. Got too many irons in the fire right now

Yeah, I'll probably have my Cummins swap done before Josh does...LOL

sat the header panel and mockup lights on just so it looks more like a truck. Brought the plasma to the house. Super Duty rear hopefully be installed this weekend. Once I get the little stuff on the rear done, I'll spin her around, and address all the glorious issues on the front end

Cleaned it up

Pinion angle set, and now chasing down the no start. We got it to fire, but no power getting to the fuel pump. Getting close... Should have it running tomorrow. I'll post up once I do

Tore it back apart to paint everything. Let it cure over night, final install this afternoon.

As for the running, spoke with Rick last night, and worked until dark chasing wires. Found a bad relay, got the truck to fire again, but then nothing. Fuel still not making it up to the fuel rail. Gonna try and find where I am losing the power again tonight. Really trying to fire this thing up before Thursday when I go back to class.

I have refreshed the page, and the pictures are not showing up for me on your last post.

I guess it is where I'm using a laptop, and not a tablet, or phone.
