Well, I mounted it on my Ranger today to take these pics. Afterwards, I grabbed a file and some sandpaper and started cleaning it up.
Please excuse the Ranger. I've been taking her apart to re-paint.
Note how the ends of the bumper is supported by the rear tube that runs back to the side plates for support on the ends.
Note that the ends are capped. After taking these photos, I grabbed a file and began smoothing it out.
A look at the welds..........
Check out this fairlead bracket:
The fairlead bracket bolts to the bumper with 1/2" bolts. The holes for the fairlead bracket are actually in the bumper already. It was suppose to have holes to mount a winch as well, but the shop that cut the plate messed up. I didn't drill them out in case someone just wanted to mount some off-road lights.
There isn't any light tabs, but I can add some if someone needs them.
Note that the corner on the plates (sides) have been ground for a smooth edge.
Started cleaning it all up.
Tomarrow I should have it all cleaned and primered.
The bumper is made out of 1/4" steel plate and 1-3/4" x 1/8" wall DOM tube. This is not made from pipe. It's not bent with a pipe bender.
I've got a lot of time and work in it. Hopefully I'll find a buyer soon. $350.00. Includes the the fairlead holder.
