Jeep rims have a lot more backspace than Ranger rims. Unless you want to get spacers they will look funny and the tires will rub on the inside.
My daughter's TJ still has the stock steelies and we measured them last week when I got new tires. 15x6 with 5" of backspace.
OE Ranger wheels are around 4" backspace.
