I just rode in one today. WOW. I love that little diesel. It has so much torque. I wanted to steal the Engine and put it into my ranger. That would be sick. Well that was all. Just wanted other peoples options. :icon_twisted:

perfect for a ranger.

with luck they will be availble to buy and put in your ranger in the next year or three :icon_thumby:

can you even imagine if the US would stop being stupid and make the products there loyal customer want give us a ranger that has a extremely strong, long last, durable motor.

South America on the other hand they have the idea.

well they been passing round a retro kit for the wranglers.

but i say put it in a ranger, just like the hei they will be in everything:headbang:

if you have 15 grand you dont want to buy a new truck with anyway:icon_rofl:

wish I could just get my hands on a 4.9L Cummins diesel motor

the lib i drove was a 4 popper.

they puttin the 6 in them now?

My sister has a Liberty CRD, it's a pretty nice rig. There is another one for sale locally, I'd consider it if I wanted an SUV, but I need a truck.

SACRILEGE!

A MOPAR PRODUCT IN A FORD!

Unless they are sourcing the lil stump pullers elsewere than its acceptable, i doubt its a cummins.. Probably a jap thingy.

Nope, it's a mercedes thingy. Remeber how they owned chrysler for a while?

i would like to see more 318 and 360's and late model hemis in rangers myself.

just doesnt get done enough.

The way I understood it was that the liberty got the isuzu scourced motor and the grand cherokee got the mercedes motor. It also explained why the larger grand got much better mileage than the liberty.
