Because of price and selectability....the unit bearing is $70 each and keeps the axle live...switchin to either RBV knuckle will allow unlocking the front axle, increasing mpg (she's only getting 13 now) as well as less mileage on the front axle parts, dshaft, tcase, etc. She coming up on 200K....and Liberty PAP, I'd stay away, me and John priced an 8.8 there and they wanted $350 with an exchange
, they are not a franchised PAP, they are just using the name, they actually pull the part for you...

I'm trying to get this 1st gen ranger. v8 swap, 1 ton axles. I have the cash and a donor vehicle. But somebody is ahead of me on buying it so i may take a completely diff direction.
