I had to pull ol'stinky out of the shop to work on a customers car. I call it stinky stew because the po before me had a small sheep farm and he didn't clean his feet or clothes before getting in. Boy does it look funny!
Its no where near that time yet. Being unemployed and picking up odd jobs in the shop make it slow to get parts and stuff. One of my friends said I should leave it like it is and don't lift the rear. Besides what funny about the pizza cutters? LOL. If I'm not mistaken the largest tire I can run with a 15x8 wheel are 31x10.50x15. I have a set of 35x12.50's but I'm not sure how they'll ride on the 8 inch width wheel.
Had the tires mounted on the new wheels and raised the rear. Sadly I used blocks (6 inches of block! ) but that's until I can pull a set of gm springs from an 88 Suburban the wife totalled about 10 yrs ago. For some reason the pics don't want to upload. I'll try again later.
Well I already paid Les Schwab 100 bucks to m&b the 31x10.50's. Plus I like how they looks on there with all the room from the tire to the wheel well. Most likely I'll throw on some 33's when these wear out. I have a set of 35's on a 67 bronco with 8" wheels. I don't care for how the side walls look on then. It's like a fat girl wearing spandex, somethings just don't look right lol.
I must be a retard at searching the net and TRS! Getting ready to do the brake lines on the d30. The flare fitting on the spring tower is it the same size fitting as the jeep fittings?
OK, I just found a 89 full size bronco with a fuel injected 5.8 for $375. It runs but has no tranny. It was an automatic and I have a manual shift 94 ranger. As it sits I have a 351w from and 85 model yr truck. If I were to swap out the 85 351w for the 89 5.8 would the ecm from the 89 be fine in a manual shift application? I've been getting conflicting info from the Internet. Our should I just pass on it?
