My credo
I don't count birthday's anymore...just happy to be looking down at the ground instead of looking up
For all you affectionadoes of great food, for all you lovers of fine cuisine, for all you followers of tasty take out, you'll be overjoyed to know that Wednesday, yes, 3 days from now, your dreams will come true...
That great slab of ground up pig parts, pig guts, lip's n tits, is back....
YES, the McRib is Baaack !!!
Covered with onions and a gooey make believe bar-b-q sauce to disguise the real flavor of a slab of "YUCH", it is a taste sensation you have all been waiting for !!!
:yahoo:

When those first came out... I was a total fan.

Last time it was available... I got one. I don't even know why I thought they were so good... because they're actually pretty disgusting.

I dont get the attraction to these things.

Yeah, a big gloopy mass of porky stuff (they can call it "pork" cause it does come from a pig), mixed with water to make a slurry that put into a big hopper and squirted out through an extrusion into a long "plank" that is then cut up into "rib slabs"
YUMMY !!!

I know alot of people (me included) dump on mcdonalds but the other day i stopped at one off I69 in indiana and ordered a double 1/4 pounder, fries, and an unsweetend ice tea. It was absolultly delicious. Fresh, juicy, fries cooked perfect, tea was amazing. I feel like mcdonalds quality *isnt that* bad as long as you get people working who care and fresh food.

Yeah. their Quarter Pounders and Big Macs are good, when cooked fresh. Fries, when fresh and cooked right are great. But the McRib....BLEAH !
One of the only "foods" I can think of that starts off as a slurry and is extruded, eaten, and around 8-10 hours later is "extruded" back into a slurry and comes out as a brownish mass into a collection hopper, with water, and flushed !!!

Can you tell it's a Sunday morning, 27 degrees out, I'm stuck inside the house, and have nothing better to do than think up and ponder this stuff ???

It promises to be a great day. Make a nice breakfast and everything will turn out great.

people that “care” at a fast-food joint? its a rareity. I was at dunkin donuts for a month and a half, alot of them are kids, very few have a work ethic, high turnover is a understatement. Granted the job doesnt pay enough to retain good workers, its a starting point and most do not require a background check or drug test. (which ive always felt is B.S. , as long as your not high on the job, what you do on your own time is your own business, and so what if you have a “past”, theres plenty of bad people whove never been arrested and plenty of former bad people that have changed their ways) So, you have the young and the ones who just cant do any better in getting a job (but at least they are willing to work-most of the time) . Not the best labor pool out there. But at least I know if im laid off again , I can go back there and not just be playing the “temp” game.

You people need to stop bad mouthing the McRib. You treat it like it's food, IT IS NOT FOOD! It is simply a flavor experience without nutritional significance. It is in a catagory all its own and to be held with the highest respect!!!

I think I'll get a couple for dinner tonight.

Wrong. Its not a flavor experience either. It has no flavor.

But if you like dog shit splattered in some werird bbq sauce, tossed on a bun with a pickle then by all means

That would be a symptom of the covid...
