BTW where did you find that one without a butt load of rust? Honda's don't live extended periods of life in Canada the salt eats them from the inside out.
I think it had some sort of rustproofing from the dealer, plus it was a 1-owner car that had some pretty good care. There was a tiny bit of surface rust right behind each rear wheel (below the gas flap) that seems to be very common on old Hondas. But I touched it up.
Colorado is better than a lot of places in terms of rusty cars, and it helps a lot if you keep your car clean and spray off the chassis regularly.
