Its a honda......But it was a good deal.

BTW where did you find that one without a butt load of rust? Honda's don't live extended periods of life in Canada the salt eats them from the inside out.

I think it had some sort of rustproofing from the dealer, plus it was a 1-owner car that had some pretty good care. There was a tiny bit of surface rust right behind each rear wheel (below the gas flap) that seems to be very common on old Hondas. But I touched it up.

Colorado is better than a lot of places in terms of rusty cars, and it helps a lot if you keep your car clean and spray off the chassis regularly.

I drive an '87 Honda 4-dr wagon. Drives like new. I drive about 400 miles a week but the fuel cost went down to nothing so I don't mind being victimized by people in Subaru Outbacks who are getting revenge for the way they were treated by the Expedition drivers.

I like the sign by the Pacer. As if we didn't frickin know it was a Pacer. We all thought it was a Delorean.

In Highschool, I almost bought a Honda Civic 4 banger 5spd manual... then I realized a 4cyl mustang 5spd does as well in fuel, then I realized they were still a car....

So I got a truck with a 5spd 4cyl.... still gets 26 mpg, but I can haul more than a single sack of feed in it without bottoming out. I wouldn't mind a car... If i was on the highway a lot, but after college, all my miles have been vacation (who cares about gas, it's vacation!!!) or hard farm miles, and every other job I've ever had were within 20miles from home....

Plus, because I use my truck on the farm some... flagging, hauling parts (small'ish ones) and jumping tractors, a tank of gas every 2 work weeks is in my contract, I usually don't even use that much!!! btw I work 3miles from home, and the nearest field I work in is adjoining my yard.
