After well over 20 years and thousands of members I don’t see this as a valid question...

lol... this site was founded a decade+ before the last (real) Rangers were built, and now it's helping to restore those Rangers.

Well I went ahead and upgraded to the paid membership. I guess I can't start a thread like this and not support.

I just did the same thing.

Big big thanks to Jim and the mods and everyone else for doing what you do and dealing with what you deal with.. especially my nonsense lol.

TRS is truly an invaluable resource of information, and is a great place to 'hang out'

How does all this forum stuff work? Is it a business of some sort? I Imagine it has to be since there are sponsors, memberships, and money floating around. What kind of costs are there... hosting, legal? Does it pay for itself or is anyone paid? How is staff recruited? How much/ what kind of work is done to keep the forum from fading away like most probably do?
