351 has a taller deck than a 302, I bet you will get the distributer.

since the trans has a dana 20 i am guessing it came from an early bronco which had a rod type clutch linkage (no cable involved). and the bellhousing i am talking about doesnt have a cable... the clutch release fork comes out the side, the slave cyl mounts to a bracket on the outside and pushes directly on the end of the release rod sticking out.

i did some searching and found a pic of what you are talking about. makes sense now!

the bellhousing is common, but for some reason the bracket which holds the slave cyl cam e hard to find... go figure... check ebay!

guess i should update, i bought it and i'm picking it up tomorrow!

besides what i listed above, he's throwing in a 2 barrel intake, all the clutch linkage stuff that was attached to the bellhousing, and the dist.

btw, i had misunderstood him. the motor was still installed. that was good, because i got to see the whole combo still in the rig. which is an early bronco, with dana 60/ 14 bolt combo, bead locks, 40 something inch tsl's, and a shit load of other goodies. no leaks at all. transfer case has a semi-fresh rebuild by an offroad shop in arizona.




now i've got to find people to buy my v-6 and other random stuff so i can get the rest of what i need!
