I think it is. Been a while since i drove something less than OBD2 daily and i know back then they used the same 4 or 5 warning lights for everything but just making them flash or come on when they shouldnt to show a problem.

SO lately, everytime i brake while driving, my E-Brake light comes on and stays on until i come to a complete stop. When i am stopped it turns off whether i take my foot off the brake or not.

Is my truck trying to tell me something?

Check brake fluid level and if there is an electrical connector on the Master cylinder remove it and check it for corrosion.

Also if you have an automatic or don't use the e-brake often then hold the e-brake release and pump the e-brake pedal until if feels "tight".
Drum brakes require manual adjusting, backing up and stopping adjusts the rear brakes and using the e-brake daily does as well

It's a manual so I do use the ebrake daily. I will check the fluid though and such Thanks
