This is the ONLY way I could really get it to fit and I didn't see any "DIY" on the subject, just read a ton of places that it would work!

Well, it seems to have! When i just drove it, i took a HARD, FAST, right hand turn and my front left tire was "folding"... So it def changed the geometry of TURNING!

I just wanted to know if I connected it right! Thanks for input!

So is that right?! Just let me know if not and I'll correct it! Thanks!

IIRC it should be in front of the axle center-line. I have to leave right away or I'd search for a pic.

Front of truck is on left on both pics.
The pics are of my 91 ranger race truck but I have never seen the rear sway bar done differently, even on a b-II.

I just checked the on-line repair manual and it shows it to the front of the rear axel...but I guess it could go in either place...but you'd get more out of it...I would imagine, if the sway bar is in front of the axel...

Never had one on the rear axel before so not sure how much it actually helps...

Not sure if this gif will show up because it is from the manual...

Edit: It showed up while I was logged into the manual...so I guess I'd have to log out and try it again...

Also, I don't think it's necessarily a bad way of having installed. As long as there is no interference I don't see any problem. It's doing the same job regardless of orientation.

Looks bass ackwards to me.

Lol... Its doing SOMETHING but I think it would do more in the correct position.

Don't think its hurting anything, but I think I'll hook it in the CORRECT way tom!

On the factory rear sway bar the sway bar is infront of the rear axle (yours should be mounted that way also), and the links from the frame to the sway bar should vertical (or close to vertical as possible) at ride height. With the way yours is the sway bar isn't doing as much as it could. Also adding all urethane bushings to the sway bar will make it work even better (if you put urethane bushings on the rear put in urethane bushings front sway bar also).

Here is factory stock Bronco II rear sway bar and viewed from infront of the left rear tire.

:dunno: :icon_confused: OR :icon_welder: :headbang:

that looks more correct....
I'm not even running a rear sway bar on my B2... and I have quick dissconnects on my front one.

Looks like you like the offroad, I didn't have a front or back on my B2 on 33's, the flex looked too good! Haha. ..

But this is going to be a track truck, I'm trying to figure out how I can bolt an upper sway bar up front NOW! She'll be getting new wheels and shoes here soon, along with 4 new shocks and a drop. :headbang:
