Is Motorcraft full synthetic 5W20 oil any good?

I bought my Ranger new back in 2008 and have been using the Motorcraft synthetic blend 5W20 oil since its first oil change. The Ranger currently has 147,000 miles on it and I have been good about keeping the oil changed about every 5,000 miles or so and have been thinking about switching to the Motorcraft full synthetic 5W20 oil lately and was wondering if it is any good or should I stay with the Motorcraft synthetic blend oil?

Stay with the blend. Your engine isn't special enough to benefit from full synthetic.
