Is it gonna look silly?

I ran a 2'' leveling kit and stock 225/70s on my truck for awhile and it didnt look too bad. i like my 31's better though haha.

You might have to be careful getting a 2" leveling kit for the front, I'm not sure how Rangers are, but I tore apart a 2wd BII and found that the front coils were 2" taller than 4x4 coils, oddly enough.

At most you'll need 2" front and rear to equal a 4x4 in height. And the bigger tires, most 4x4s seemed to have a slightly bigger stock tire size. On my Ranger I rebuilt the rear spring packs and gained about 2" empty to lightly loaded (had to step up to 4x4 shocks in the back) and went from stock 225/70/15 tires to 235/75/15 tires. Those were not very pricey, had a good selection of different tread patterns, didn't really affect the driveability, and seemed to fill the wheelwells nicely.

I think 2wd drive coils are bigger than 4wd in Rangers. The lift the 4wd ones get comes from other front end parts so dont get 4wd springs to level. The difference in the front and rear is about 2'' i believe.

I know for certain that the rear is 2" because that is the height of the lift blocks they put on 4x4 Rangers, lol.

where do you want measurements from? my trucks sitting in the garage now and i can take whatever measurements you want. im running 30's with no lift.

I feel I must add my two cents, if you keep the stock tire size it will look goofy, I think they look goofy on my stock truck. 30" tires I think look great on a stock ranger so they would prolly be best.
