Internal transfer case speedo gear

I just pulled the entire drivetrain from my truck today to rebuild most of it... Anyway, my speedo is way off (too fast) and my cable end gear is one of the higher tooth count versions (I think there is one more step, but won't correct for the 20% my speedo is off). I have a 1354M in the truck (well, it's on the garage floor right now...) and I have two spare T cases a 1350M and a 1354E, both have the speedo drive gear I need (white I think), I'd rather tear into the 1350 since I plan to make a doubler out of it in the future, are the speedo gears the same between the 1350 and 1354?

I know I have to tear into the cases to get to the gear, shouldn't be an issue

As far as I know they are the same gear, just different tooth count (6 on one, 7 on the other IIRC).

FWIW, i have the higher gear inside my 1354 with the 21T speedo cable gear (red), and the speedo reads about 3MPH fast at 55MPH according to those "Your Speed Is..." sign trailers the police place on the local roadways from time to time (5.13 gears, 35" MT/R-Ks). It's not enough that I've bothered swapping the internal gear for the lower one.

Hmm... good call, just went and looked and I have a 18t now, and I do have a spare that's 19t, that'll save me a couple hours if I manage across a 21t... I'll have to do some junk yard searching at lunch one of these days with a 7/16" wrench in hand...
