Intermitent wipers module location?

Anybody know where the intermitent wiper control module is?
I have tried following the wires from the wiper switch to find the location but all I can see is the main wiring harness from the switch to the firewall plug. I would think that it is somewhere above the steering column, but maybe I am just blind.

91 ranger with hi/low wipers, but no intermitent speeds. Also have tried the wiper switch from my wrecked 90 ranger so I know the issue is not the switch.

Thanks for any help guys.

Typically it's mounted to the backside of the brace bracket that runs from the top of the transmission tunnel up to the pedal support.

It's simple enough to pull the access panel and trace the wire from the wiper control stalk to the module.

What year truck are you working on?
