I recently purchased a 94 b3000 2wd 5spd as a winter beater and just to have a truck. Got it for $200 and a case of microbrew :icon_hornsup: Anyway I took it in for a state inspection and it needs a catback, one tire, and a sway bar link.

I'm trying to figure out if the intermediate pipe is the same length for all wheelbases? The truck is a reg cab, and I believe a shortbed. Someone put a snowmobile trailer body on it as a bed so it's hard to tell.

From what I've been able to find it's going to be cheaper to buy the intermediate pipe, muffler, and tailpipe separately as opposed to a cat back setup. I have a lift and a welder so I'm just going to dyi it. Any help/ suggestions for cheap decent parts to use would be greatly appreciated.

OK....rockauto pretty much answered my question. They have 3 different lengths. Now my question is how do i figure out if this truck is 108 114 inch wheelbase? Do I measure from center of each hub?

Assuming it's a short bed and i got the factory replacement tailpipe and intermediate pipe from walker what length muffler would I need? I'm thinking of going with a glass pack since they are cheap. Anyone ever heard one on a 3.0? If it sounds ricey I will spend a few extra bucks.

The tailpipe and intermediate is only $63 shipped. I'd like to stay under $130. This would be with 2" pipe.

The wheelbase is marked on the door sticker..

if the Driver's door is original and not painted over...

Wheel base is measured wheel center to wheel center.

Regular cab short bed would be the 108” you mentioned, regular cab long bed is 114” and an extended cab short bed is 125" iirc.

Thanks a lot! Made my life a lot easier in this new england cold. I would've assumed it was a SB and ordered the 108" one, but according to the sticker in the door jamb the # 114 under the letters "wb" lead me to believe she's a long bed. The pipe for the 114" wheelbase is $4 bucks cheaper too!:yahoo:
