Got a call around 4:30 yesterday.....somebody pulled out in front of the wife and she clipped him. His fault. He pulled out in front of her, she was heading north on m-37 in Middleville going through the one light and he was facing south and turned left in front of her. She slammed her RF on his RR of his fullsize NEW pick-up.
This will be the 3rd RF headlight bucket, grille.....second front bumper. But this would be the first fender and hood. Add RF inner fender, all the lights, and the core support
Buddy came to her rescue as I was still at work and the bumper is in the way of the truck turning left. So he rescued her and and my son and brought them home for me. Truck is still in Middleville. Have to go and get it tomorrow. Just remove the bumper for now. Wife is REALLY SORE right now but fine overall and my boy is fine.
So since my buddy saved my ass and I didn't have to rush home. I went to leave work and the battery in the Sable was dead, shorted, bad cell. So it would jump but second it got shut off would be dead again and need a jump. Got to where I was going and of course I shut it off. I went to Rockford and looked at a B2. Yep for now I own another B2. So we went to leave and I took the battery out of the B2 and put it in the Sable so it would start again.
Has a 4" Lift on it with some 33's and decent 15x10 rims. 2.9L 5spd. Started right up and sounded like any other 2.9L. It was actually nicer then the CL ad made it look.
I am undecided what I am gonna do with it at this point. I have a guy who will trade my a decent 96 FS Bronco for it. I traded some tools for it + $45. I'll end up paying for the tools I traded over time but as of this moment I am only out the $45 cash I paid him.
Not 100% sure I am gonna keep the b2 though.....but it does have some speedfx buckets in it that are alot nicer then my procar seats in the truggy so I will atleast keep those.
But it Idles smooth and seams to run good and the clutch feels good. Elec is a little hacked up. Has an elec fan on the Rad. and the fuel pump is on a toggle switch. Its pretty solid other then just the rockers and where the "b" pillar attachs. The core support is FREAKIN solid though and it has the uper rare rear window lift gate thats in really good shape.
