I'm sure I got a short.

I can relate. I'm glad you decided to post on this forum, its good to see your progress as each day goes by. Sometimes I have to go back in my threads and read about what I've done in order to see the progress. Its easy to miss if you're living it but when you see it condensed into a forum thread its much easier to see the progress.

I agree with that a 1000% @alwaysFlOoReD .
And I enjoyed this forum and these threads.
Along with the guys I've met in them.

I've found another good quality in life is to be honest and straightforward with people.
The more honest and upfront you are with people the better they can get to know you.
And that leads to them trusting and liking you more.
The more they trust and like you the more they are willing to also learn what you need that would help you.

At the same time the more they trust and like you the more they will be willing to open up to you as well.
And that leads to you trusting and liking them more.
Another thing that happens with them trusting and liking you it opens them up to be willing to ask you for help as well.

I try to be up front about my faults like the fact that I have dyslexia, that I have psoriasis, that I have a bad sciatic nerve and that I have arthritis. Everybody has boundaries and a person's physical body can be its biggest boundary reminder.

Like @RobbieD said in one of his posts last night.
He is one age he feels like another age and he acts like a totally different age.
I'm 49 years old a lot of days I feel like I'm 87 or 107 but in my mind I still think of myself as a 25-year-old or less most of the times.

I'm not really happy with exactly how I worded all this but if I sat here all night and trying to reword it and reword it reword it reword it it wouldn't never get posted.

So I'm going to go ahead and post it and call that done for this time around.

Okay it's 1:00 a.m. my time I'm going to call it a night.
Have a good night everyone.

Been a minute since I've looked at this thread...

39 pages and 573 posts...

One question... do you have a short?

Carry on....

@Uncle Gump
When I first started this thread and thought I had a short it turned out I did not.
That problem ended up to being a simple fuse was blown.
And my dumb butt did not keep it simple stupid and check the fuses first.
So I was chasing a shorts that was not there.

However as of a couple days ago and today I do have a short of some kind.
At least that's what I believe.

One thing I can say however this thread has helped me to get to know the members of this site a lot better.
I have received a lot of good help and have enjoyed being on this site.
And it has allowed the other members of this site to see just how simple minded I can be.
Compared to a lot of other members here I really am just a novice.

I just edited my last post #575 of this threat.
I believe it is easier to read and understand.

Yeah... I didn't mean anything by my last comment.

I was just shocked I saw 39 pages... and didn't read it all to get to the end and was curious... about a short.

I completely understand @Uncle Gump .

If you do decide to read it all. I want to warn you I talk a lot!..

I suspect you more likely have an open circuit than short this time around... You've found too many things loose already.

I slept until around noon today.
When I woke up I checked in here at the ranger station.
Reply to @Uncle Gump post.
Did my morning routine use the bathroom you know so on so forth.

I made it to my brothers about a half an hour ago 45 minutes maybe.
I don't work on my truck at my house.

Once I got to my brothers I took connector C123 apart used my electrical cleaner spray on it.
I waited about 12 to 15 minutes to allow it to dry.
Then I squeezed a good bit of Dielectric Grease into the male side connector.
I then put it back together.
At that point I took my truck for a short drive and it seems to be behaving A Lot better.

As of right now I've now also taking connector c118 apart and done the same process.
I'm getting ready to go for another drive now.
At this point it's also raining so I may not be able to do anymore today.

We will see.

As everyone knows from my previous post #580

After cleaning and adding Dielectric Grease to connector C123 then going for a test drive.
I then did the same with connector C118.

After I drove around for about 20 minutes I pulled over and started my next video that I'm placing in this post.

Looks like you're on the right track. Good job!

Have you looked at the timing pickup and harmonic balancer/crank pulley? Wondering if it is dirty...

No @SenorNoob I have not.
However now that you ask that, I can see logic in seeing if it's dirty or not.

If I understand right the timing pickup is ON the harmonic balancer right?

The crankshaft position sensor uses the harmonic balancer to tell it where the crankshaft is at, in relation to what's going on. I.E. the RPMs.
Right?

Me being new to crankshaft position sensors and camshaft position sensors and so on and so forth.
I never would have thought of looking at harmonic balancer.
Until now that you asked that.

Thank you very much for asking that question..!!!!

I added to that last post #584 with an add on.
