I have bigger problems than just a busted joint which is now fixed. Other things like a broken block, cracked springs and possibly a bent axles are now what seems to be the problem. This thing makes nearly 500 ft-lbs at the flywheel, not to meantion put a nearly 6:1 first gear, forget what second is; reguardless no 4.0L is going to put that kind of stress on a truck. It's a miracle these parts last as long as they do; I expect the stuff to break the second I get a little gas happy and I'm never disappointed.

Sorry to hear, what's next up with drive-line? You were looking at using a C-6 at one time, go with the big input 1 3/8" if you can find one. They came behind the 427-428 FE's. Sounds like a 9" is in store also, 31 spline minumum. Good luck!
