If there were no more Rangers -----?

id start wheelin lawn mowers before i switched to another brand. the tattoo on my leg burns just thinking about it. but id prob have to say a f150 or bronco.

Mid-size truck? Definitely either a 1998 - 2004 Nissan Frontier (preferably the crew cab, long bed, but I'm not picky) or a first generation Taco (sans frams rust of course).

Full size? I would have to go with either an older '89 - '93 square body Dodge (12V Cummins of course) or an anywhere from '80 - '96 F-250/350 Ford with an IDI diesel or Powerstroke.

Oooooor, Will could just give me his crew cab Chev. That would do nicely! :D

I think I'd go with an Avalanche or Ridgeline.

GM and Chrysler sold their soul to the devil when they took federal funds, They no longer need my support.

I would have to find a F/S Bronco/F150 or an Older AMC J series Jeep or Waggy/Cherokee or a 3.4L Taco/4Runner or FJ60/62/80/100 series LandCruiser.

I'd keep bleeding blue. It would have to be a '52-'56 F series, or anything full size from '67-'85 lowered and raked to look like a mild dragster.

I wanna go fast, as well as look like i'm going fast.

If something happend it my Ranger, I would start over with a 80-86 F-350 SRW, 4x4, 400 with the creeper 4sd... and replace my F-150 with a newer V-6 Mustang for a nice looking car that would also get decent milage.

That's the owner of All Wheels Offroad Park in Lewiston Maine and his Uni. It's the next town over from me. It's on 38's and I got to sit in it, he wouldnt let me drive it though. :bawling:

Oh and his wife has an F350 dump truck on tractor tires.:headbang:

I'd prolly build an explorer.

But I had a 73 J-4000 with a 360.... I'd probably build one of those instead.

^^^ thats sweet!

I personally would go with a tacoma. I like those trucks. I would consider an F150 if I could justify a full size.

Why does it matter? I only buy 15-20 year old (or more) vehicles anyway. If Ford stopped producing today, ask me again in 2024.

The "no aftermarket" stuff would take decades to kick in. You can still get aftermarket parts for Studebakers (and yes, there were Studebaker light trucks). And if there WERE a problem, that's what junkyards and resto shops are for. I can still get factory GM parts for my 1972 C-10. Gotta pay for it if it's not actually from the dealer, but it exists (e.g., I could get a factory tach, but it would cost me $500).

i think it was a hypothetical question:icon_thumby:
