Ideas? 5.0L EFI throttle cable

So I will soon have my shifter for my AOD made, I am looking forward to that.

The only thing stopping me from driving after that is a proper throttle cable. What have other guys with EFI done? The throttle cable off the Towncar is too long, the 2.9 throttle cable head section is too bulky to effectively loop around....

Aside from butchering a throttle cable and franken'fabbing something to work I'm running out of ideas. I would like something 'bolt in' for this. It's kind of important.

lokar,the stock aod kit is like 4', for my setup (explorer)i used a 5' .they have semi custom lengths if needed.good stuff

I ended up using a multi-purpose Lokar throttle cable. I only needed it to be 4" long. It was stressful cutting the sleeve down to 4" and then the ferrule didn't want to go back on!! ARGH, but I got it with some help.
