i think i broke something!

so what is being said is... its easy.

no no no no no nevermind. this b2 will not get sas'ed its getting teh d35.. i should probably log off in jealousy now lol. oh well. i'm saving the sas for the dedicated trail rig. but for sure walk me thru what happens with this just incase!

the d35 is very capable as well if built right. i just want to get away from the ttb steering.

oh yeah.. i had a nice thread going on about the d35 being capable or not.. i'm gonna do the d35 and probably a stonecrusher "look a like" or some kind of custom steering. i'll make it work.

If you don't want your rig done for long, then just throw in a D35. Mine was down for only 2 days after I broke the D28. It was so easy.

depending on if i can find one real cheap. so i can gather my d44 parts.

I pulled one at the junkyard in about 2 hours.

yea. theres plenty here at pull a part. how much did you pay for it?

I was wondering how hard it was to swap in a 35. I have one in my other B2. I'm plannin a SAS for it later on. But for now its disabled. So I'm swappin in my 1350m this weekend. Would I have probs with the d35 and 1350?

the 35 is a bolt in. only thing youll have to do is shorten your front drive shaft cause the 35 pig is bigger than the 28 pig...

my main thing is i have a 92 ex donor rig, i've already stripped the motor, trans, t/case, drive shafts, and the 8.8 is being built now.. so i already have the d35. just gotta get bracket, brake stuff, ring n pinion, and the aussie.

how far back do they extend onto the frame of a b2?

i think it was around 10.5" longer. I used them on factory 78-79 bronco radius arms for my SAS, but decided to go with duff arms instead

i'm pretty sure they would thread onto a TTB radius arm as well. I've got a dana 35 sitting around that i could test them on. keep in mind they do have to be welded on after they are threaded on.

yea man. test them out on the d35 arms to see if they fit. the guy that runs stone crusher lives about 10 minutes from me.

i think im going to throw a 35 in there till i collect all the parts for the swap. got any 35 parts?
