i think i broke something!

Ok then. you are still welcome to come get the front axle free of charge if you need it.

well, I think it's began. Im looking for a EB dana 44. I really dont see a point in dumping money into this axle even though its probably just a wheel bearing.

Theres 2 eb's sitting at a scrap yard here in town both with axles and 1 even has a full cage. id like to get that as well, cut it down to fit the b2. Im going to go down there tomorrow and may come home with some axles. we'll see

good luck... i'm jealous already!

i've got a bad feeling that theyve already crushed the broncos though. i hope not! those things were jems haha

j/y ppl are idiots.. they crush the stuff that don't make them EASY money. i wish i could leave my b2 broke down long enough to sas it with a shortened down d44.. somehow a 5 on 4.5 bolt pattern and all...

well its set up for radius arms already, coil springs.. i think the steering is pretty easy to. it should be very easy in my opinion other than the narrowing of the d44. what are you gonna do about the bolt pattern of your rims?

i dont have to narrow the axle. its out of an early bronco. its almost the same width as the d28

oh okay i still thought it needed narrowed.. maybe i will look into this more instead of the d35..

but yea, it is easy to swap if you have all the parts. i plan on using a eb dana 44 with the stock ra's for now and using 78-79 ra mounts. i found a nice track bar bracket for 40 bucks. i just have to worry about the steering linkage and a few other little things

If you are going to do that, then pull the 9" out of the rear too. Then find a set of 5x5.5 rims for your tires.

you should be able to run the stock radius arm brackets with the EB radius arms.

i happen to have a set of stone crusher radius arm extensions...

or a dana 35 ttb with 3.73 gears, warn hubs, and most of the parts for a 44 knuckle swap....

yea. i like those stone crusher steering ra extensions

$110 shipped and they are yours. i screwed them on, mocked up the axle, then changed my mind and bought something else. never even welded them on.
