Special thanks to 1badexplorer for hooking me up with the visor, complete with hardware, for the awesome price of $50.

Always been a fan of them myself.

I actually put the ones on my truck as kind of a joke between me and an old co-worker who kept asking me if my truck "wanted to be a big truck" because he thought anything smaller than a 150 wasn't worth thinking about.

I put them on and showed up at work the next day and said "Look Rick, it's pretending to be a big truck".

Then I decided I just really loved the look.

Saw a guy with them on his running board or rockers the other night it looked retarded. I like how they look but I'm not convinced they'd look good on my third gen.

I have seen a 3rd gen with this set on it running around near Williamsport.

If you got the right set I think they could look pretty good. The rounded Lund visor that fits your truck looks good. I've seen that. I'm betting that the ones off of a late model Chevy wouldn't look bad on a Gen 3 either. they are low, very round, not really wide. They fit the lines of the truck.

Hmm maybe I've looked at the ones lmc offers and they look nice, but not sure I like the squared off ones most. But rounded probably would look better. The catalog shows a ranger with them on the tailgate looks good

I like the squared ones (actually more diamond shaped) on my truck, but that's because they are appropriate to my year.

It's like I said, they have to match the body lines to look good. The problem with the Gen 3 Ranger and cab lights is that Ford kept the diamond ones from the 80s up through the late 90's body change on the 250+ trucks. The Ranger's body those years is a little more curved that the 250's. It's hard to find ones that match the Ranger's body lines well those years.

I like the size of the visor ones better, the scale is closer to being "right"

I do love them on my dad's one ton, just gives it a totally different personality when the lights are on.

The ones on the Ranger don't photograph well. The plastic is already spidering and it gives them a bit of a halo effect in photos. They look much better in person.

I think my original avatar pic is the best one I have of them, which is from a day or two after I put them on.
