I know you guys aren't jeep guys but...

unless it was driven by John Wayne, Chuck Norris, Dwayne Johnson, God, or Optimus Prime I don't want it

I'm so sick of these "Jeeps are the most manliest badass vehicles evar ur not manly enough to begin to comprehend the awesomeness" Craigslist ads. A new one pops up every 3 months or so. They stopped being funny after the 2nd one.

Wildfire

Yea, that ad blew up and spread like wildfire here in Texas & the community.

ExBass, you're right, but it's still hilarious to the computer illiterate or those in hovels. There was a guy that sarcastically did on on his Camry a few years back, and that made my day.

The club I'm in here is full of that Jeep mentality, and it's obnoxious. It's a cult group way of thinking, and they aren't respectful if you have another vehicle. I guess it's because this group isn't exclusively "Jeep", and accepts new Jeep owners who are looking to belong and bought their Jeep because they heard it "offroads good." Some of them are wannabes, I guess you could say, and build up "the wave" as if it's exclusively a hardcore 4wd thing.

Truthfully, certain 4x4 guys will wave regardless of make on the road, and respect each other despite your rig's make.

Who else rides? New motorcycle owners and squids are the same way.

Who would pay $50k for a damn Rubicon?

My family has been Land Rover (Range Rover) and Jeep owners for a very long time. We had 2 Defender 90's back in the 60's when we lived in Africa (63-69) and we had a Jeep or 2 as well over there and here in the states. The old Jeeps just like the Land Rovers loved to go anywhere, anytime. I still have Jeeps and they never let me down. Most of the newer Jeeps I see around here are just expensive posers!!! Lift kits, huge tires, all the added goodies to making a true off road vehicle that is never off road....lol. Some do go off road a lot and they are pretty good rides. I have always likeed my 4x4 Toyota trucks and my Rangers and my BII’s that I have owned and they were great rides. I love my lifted 2wd 99 Ranger I have now. I will always have a jeep but I won’t say that only a real man owns a Jeep. There are a lot of great neat rides out there. I like them all.

Real men wave to all on the roads and enjoy meet and greets with owners of all makes of vehicles.

I had a jeep thing... now it burns when I pee

Yea, I think we've all seen that sticker, BDAB.

Been tried wheeling in a Ranger Rover. I frequently see a Discovery group at one of the parks. Maybe one day I'll get the nerve to ask for a ride, or if they want to join our group for the day. Hm.

Toyota 4x4 are probably one of the most popular 4x4 trucks in the world...

Got dangit Bobby. I just wasted 20 minutes reading other ridiculour CL ads on that Uproxx site.

I don't have time for more of this kind of stuff.
