I just replaced front rotors/pads, now ABS light is on?

So I replaced the rotors and pads on my 2010 2wd, XL, 2.3L, 5 speed manual . I used EBC parts. I was very careful with the calipers and they were never stressed. I opened the brake fluid reservoir when I compressed the pistons in, to fit the new pads. I pumped up the brakes slowly after everything was back together. I took an easy test drive and everything feels great.
But the ABS and traction control lights are now on!
Help?

Most likely, a wheel sensor got messed up, wire snapped, or the speed ring on the rotor is faulty, or it is just plain filthy with shavings (see that a lot). Traction control has me thinking it can't "see" the wheel but knows from the vss it is moving.

I'm ASE certified for brakes. My suggestion, get the code and work from there.

Thanks for the reply. Can you tell me where the sensor and speed ring are located? It's 2wd. The rotor has the bearings inside it. I replaced those too. I packed it thoroughly with grease...

Happy ending!
I disconnected the battery for 15 minutes. Reconnected and started it up. Same lights were on. I drove a mile and the lights went out!?!?
Again, thanks for the reply. Weird thing....

The new rotors had the tone rings installed, right?

They're a toothed ring on the back side of the rotor. 2WD has rings on the rotors. 4WD they're on the CV axles. Exmple:

If they're missing, you'll have to move them over from the old rotors.

Sometimes they are part of the rotor and you get a lot of wrong parts with brakes as well.

I won't be able to get under the truck till Tuesday. I have the old parts and will compare them. The EBC rotors came with a black coating on them. I sprayed them with brake cleaner and the stuff came off almost like melted crayon. I cleaned both rotor surfaces but not the center section. I'll look to see what's left on there...
