I just don't get it...................

My male cats invariably meet bad ends. The females do a good job of staying around. My current cat is female and makes the Khmer Rouge look like boyscout troop 461. They do not go inside at all. They usually choose the crawlspace.

My cat only goes out on a leash if I'm out side with her.

She gets scared outside if left alone...she thinks she is a princess but she is actually a big suck...:D

My cats have usually been tomcats, and like I said he'd disappear
for weeks, his record was 7weeks, at a time.

He wasn't that skinny when he came back though...
we have lots of rabbits and he was the angel of death
to the local cottontail population.
but the very first animal I ever saw him with was
a baby (24") copperhead it wasn't very dead, extreemly
ticked off, and seemed to amuse the cat enormously
I let him have his fun, because either he knew exactly
what he was doing (he did) or he'd win a darwin award...
He gave one to the snake... before he ate it.... all but the head....

all the squirrel killer cats I've ever had, save one, I had to
personally teach that squirrels were made of meat...

after that...they never bothered the birds unless the birds bothered them...
Like the Bluejays that would "dive bomb" the cat while he very convincingly ignored them... until one got brave and came too close...
