i just b ought an EB dana 44 and now i have questions.

first of all, how can i convert it to disk brakes and possibly get a 5 on 4.5 lug patter, without having to spend 500 for the conversion from bronco graveyard, or would it be worth it for me to just buy an axle that aready has disks?

Any D44 outers will work on that axle. Just get the knuckles out from another axle. The lug pattern your out of luck on. Dodge used it for a little while but you have to run crappy outers to utilize it and they arent worth using just to get the pattern.

Just do what I did, buy 78-79 Bronco outters, and run the 5x5.5 pattern.
And if you wanna match the rear, like you should, run adapters till you can afford to build up a rear. I just choose to run a EB BB 9".

It's definitely not worth the hassle to keep the 5x4.5 pattern.
