My truck is breaking more often than driving it, too. The recurring cost is almost not worth it at times for me.

Woodbridge Va??,,, would you happen to know if Vint Hill Farm Army Post is still active over towards Warrenton? I was stationed there in the mid 70's, had an apartment in Manassas.

I believe it is closed down. They had a nice antenna farm there at one time. I used that truck I junked for more than 15 Amateur Radio field days. I had 80 meter through 70cm antennas and an Icom 706mk2g. I talked to Japan in that truck one year. I got all the cable off the old truck and I'll take my time and set up the new truck.

I saw to my Mom's care and was with her when she died. Part of the memories of that truck was hauling her around to doctors and come to think of it I used the truck to move her into assisted living. These machines are so much a part of our lives.

That was a waste of a good truck if you ask me. Body was in nicer shape than most trucks around here. Frame was is REALLY nice shape for the year. I would have put $500 in your yard and I am sure someone would have bought it. Low miles, clean frame, good body. I think you made a bad mistake on that one.

I think we have lost our civility as a nation and think that the world revolves around our opinion.

I think it is disgraceful to bring up his mother into your opinions even if it was in jest.

Of course my opinion is as worthless as others.

Someday we will get back on course.
