I has an issue!!!!

Okay... so check fuel pressure, check exhaust, check cat again, check spark..... what else am I missing...

Don't just look at and shake the cat. Actually take the time to remove it and look inside.

The guts can melt and close off the holes but not allow it to make noise and rattle.

It was on tv so it has to be real :D

I've seen her house, It's not that pretty.
My cousin's partied with her kids, her kids are drug addicted alcoholics.
My dad goes to the bar with her sister, her sister is way kooler.
And he's ugly as #$%#$ in person.
I've met her in person, she's dumber than a #$%#$ rock!
I've also met Lisa Mirkowski, she's scary looking and crazy.
Lt. Govener Mead Treadwell, Great man. Went to school with his son, his son is an @$$hole.

There's your lesson on Alaskan politics. Alaska Native Tribes politics.... totally different story with 10X the drama.

Okay, last time we didn't really have the time to remove it and actually look in it. Will do next time.

Sniff the dipstick if there is too much fuel it will wash down into the crankcase.

Fuel and also check the vacuum line to the fuel pressure regulator if you smell fuel in it the reg is bad.

Any CEL lights?

Your dumping fuel into your engine somehow. Blown FPR. Check the vacuum line like stated, smell for raw gasoline.

Try taking it to the auto parts store and seeing if they can scan for codes. I had a $10 sensor go out and all hell broke loose.

Truck would not restart once warm, would idle fast, smelled terrible, ran like crap. Ended up being a Coolant Temperature Sensor.

My point, anything can cause excess fuel. Keep looking, you will find it.

Smelled fuel on dip stick.

my big @$$ dog, Kali. She's a crazy redhead just like me.

Thanks for helping her out you guys i been busy as hell. Soon as she is done with dinner i will have her pull the line of the brake booster and niff for fuel also, that would spell FPR for sure.

I always sniff the dipstick when checking the oil if you smell fuel not a good thing. A complete diag on the engine would be in order. Compression/leakdown and vacuum pressure after checking and confirming the timing is good. Is it using alot of oil and where is it going. How old are the plug wires and PCV if you dont know change them with your tune up. Check the fuel pressure and watch the guage after the engine stops to see if it holds pressure and how long. Pull the cat and muffeler and inspect for servicability. I`m sure you have a good muffeler shop somewhere close once you get the engine running good then put the money in the exhaust. If the muffeler shop is any good just take them the cat and muffeler and they can install it right for reasonable and quick.

+1 on the brake booster if it gets fuel in it it can cause it to fail also just something to look at close.

It's deffinately fun trying to out and work on this in 18 degrees in the dark. fml.

If you don't like working on your truck either buy a new one or take it to a shop and pay somebody else to do it.

I am tired of all this fml crap (just popped up out of nowhere the past couple days :icon_confused:), in the grand scheme of things a busted truck is very minor.

(Ak907Girl) Dude, one Im out in the cold unlike half of you pussys and I pull into Lima's shop and we're tryin to figure out whats wrong.

With it idling low we pulled off the vaccum line to the egr and it should just about die right? well there was no change. tappin and hittin things, no change. Unplugged the #$%$#$#$ AC and it ran fine. the hell.
