Looking for some help! Building 1989 Ranger extended cab. Was converted with a 5.0 automatic when we got it. In the process of installing a blue print 5.0 and manual TKX 5 speed. The truck actually has the clutch pedal still in it but now converting to the manual, I was wondering if anyone has done this? Want to know what was involved with the change? Any suggestions appreciated!

Let me look for the thread someone used Foxbody pedals before which I would much prefer a cable clutch over hydraulic. I have had so many problems with hydraulic clutchs in my 5.0 t5 1990. That said it was my daily for a few years that way. Until fuel nuts for a lil while.

Thats my thread above on using a external slave cylinder. I later went to modern drivelines external setup but I'm having issues with it it might need bled better, maybe a larger reservoir or its out of adjustment. I haven't had time to mess with it lately.

Below should be what you are looking for.
Keep in mind if you want you use explorer 5.0 manifolds or headers the driver side wont work with a cable clutch. The manifold dunps right in front of the hole on the bellhousing.
