Wanted hub cap

Robbie this is excellent. Now I know how to describe what wheel is what. Thank you

Thanks. Keep in mind, though, that when I did that list, I assigned the "type" numbers myself, chronologically, because Ford would reuse wheel type numbers over time as old styles were dropped and new styles came in.

In other words, the Ford "Type 1" wheel in a 1983 brochure would be a completely different wheel in the 1990 brochure, yet Ford called it a "Type 1". So my "Type" numbers won't always line up perfectly with the Ford lit.

And the aftermarket collision repair estimator catalogs seemed to use their own "type" numbers for the wheels. It was all confusing as hell so I decided screw it, I'll make my own cheat sheet. Otherwise these collision repair catalogs are a gold mine for parts information.

That spreadsheet is all of the wheel and tire information from the 1983 through 1994 sales brochures and Specifications Books. Columns C, G and H are sales brochure data; columns E and J are Specification Book data. Tire heights were pulled from one of the tire maker websites' calculator by entering the tire size. Images were scanned from the Ford sales brochures.

I simply got tired of going through brochures and books, every time I was swapping wheels around in the fleet, or buying tires, and figuring out what the differences were. Unfortunately, backspacing specs were not in the materials I used, but I run OEM wheels on all of my '84 to '94 trucks. The only issue I've run into is the smaller hub bore size on some wheels not fitting my later trucks. All of mine are 2WD.
