How to strip a Bronco II

don't worry, he still has his crawler!

what i have are the remains of another project. Originally, he was building it for someone else, then that guy lost interest. So Jason bought it.

He kept all of the drivetrain except what you see here (it had a running 2.9).

I bought it for 3 main things:
-dana 44
-cage
-spare body panels.

Since he went almost full tube on his green/black crawler, i acquired his old full doors, old tube doors (he made new ones), and his front stinger/bumper.

dang, if i was near ya, id buy off that core support, mines been just pounded back into shape after an acident.

aren't you moving to arkansas? I live outside jonesboro, and visit family around russelville occasionally

yea, just not yet, and its probly gona be NW ar or SW missouri. if u still have that core support when i finaly move, how much ya wana sell it for?

picked up another (half of) one from Jason ("Punisher" on the forums)

averaged 17 mpg on the way up (empty), and 15.5 on the way back (about a 1.5 hour drive)

not from the punsiher are they?

and id like those floor pans lol

needed some excitement, so i chopped a frame in half and flipped it over with the lawnmower

makes it much easier to get to all the stuff i want to pull off

What ever happend to the guy with the punisher?

no problem, hope it worked well for you :icon_thumby:

yes, jason and the punisher are alive and well. i think his interests have shifted more towards street rods and cruises/car shows. something the whole family can really get involved in. but he does drop in on b2.org every once in awhile.

Good to know he hasnt let it go.
Thanks for the info.

did some more chopping on the SAS donor

The cage will be pulled out next. i'm currently trying to decide how much of the firewall/cowl area I want to keep. I'll probably just save the cowl vent piece and the vin # with a bunch of metal around it (It's a clear title in my name, may come in handy someday)

scrap metal is going up again, so I am trying to get rid of everything that i don't want and hasn't sold.

had a couple hours to kill on a nice day, so i did some more cutting

as far as i got today. need to find my big torx bit for the seat mounts. i'm saving the quarter panels to use as patch panels at a later date. all i will really be using is the fender lip, so i didn't really care where i cut it. i may save the gas tank too, depending on what shape its in

btw, normally i would have kept all the vehicles semi-intact, and pulled parts to use or sell when i wanted to. BUT, my wife and i are looking for a new house. i really dont want to move a ton of junk i'll probably never use. that's why i shut down the for sale thread. the scrap yard will give me quick cash, and i'll have a much cleaner yard.

i'm also loading down the brown b2 with spare parts. i guess i need to throw some extra leafs in the rear spring pack, it'll be bottoming out soon.

the pile is getting a little bigger.

I could do more, but i think i'm going to make a run with just this stuff. really want my trailer empty, I've got a dirtbike and some axles to pick up
